Defence and emergency services contractor Alkath Group will launch a new Product Showcase Centre at its headquarters in Nowra on Wednesday this week.

The launch is in collaboration with defence SME industry body the Australian Industry and Defence Network (AIDN), the veteran-owned company said in a statement. Alkath added that the centre is “designed to enhance the client experience” and its establishment marked “a significant milestone”.

“By bringing together many of Alkath Group’s products from our subsidiaries Global Defence Solutions (GDS), Mellori Solutions and Resilience Logistic Solutions under one roof, the centre offers the opportunity for clients to explore our range of solutions firsthand, all focused on enhancing security and life support,” said Managing Director Phil Guy (second from left.)

“This showcase not only gives you an idea of the range of our products but also provides a comprehensive understanding of their features and benefits. Visitors can engage with our experts, ensuring that the solutions we offer are tailored to their specific requirements.

According to the statement, highlights of the Wednesday event will include live demonstrations of Alkath’s V-Shelter range, a soft shelter solution designed to be rapidly assembled with minimal manpower, as well as a “state-of-the-art mobile water reuse system” for off-grid deployments.

The AIDN event will also feature a tour through Alkath’s dedicated design and manufacturing facilities, including their canvas and PVC textile design centre and metal fabrication building.

Alkath announced an expansion late-last year, acquiring another building in South Nowra.

Alkath Group’s current work through its GDS subsidiary includes partnering with Thomas Global Solutions on the M1A2 Abrams main battle tank Immersive Tactical Trainer (ITT), and deployable training systems for the Australian Army’s Combat Reconnaissance Vehicles.
